Saddam's Half Brother Captured

Middle East or Middle Earth? You decide. Iraqi security forces claimed capture of Saddam Hussein's half-brother and former adviser, Sab'awi Ibrahim al-Hasan, government officials said Sunday, dealing a small blow to an otherwise growing insurgency that some Iraqi officials claim the former fugitive was helping organize and fund, perhaps from Syria. In reality, Syria 'captured' al-Hasan and handed him over with 29 others in a rather obvious attempt to circumvent attention from last weeks' brutal murders in Lebanon. Meanwhile, and regardless of the facts, Iraqi officials in Ramadi claimed that al-Hasan had been working nights as a cage fighter in an illicit nightclub here, and that once cornered he put up little resistance. "Mr. al-Hassan was the considered the kingpin of the so called Midget Mujahadeen. They're small but fierce, and they're great in tunnels."
