Justice Denied

John Roberts was sworn in as Chief Justice of the United States this afternoon barely three hours after gaining Senate confirmation, leaving scarcely enough time to sober up the President and find a bible. Said Mr. Roberts after taking the oath, "Thank you Mr. President. There is no way to repay your confidence in me,"

I'm sure you'll work something out.

We know next to nothing about this man; we get to meet him in earnest on Monday. One could say that he rode in on faith in his word. If time proves that he is not what he would have us believe, then he will stand as a liar.
